Complementing iNova’s licensing expertise is our in-house product development capability, which includes new product introductions and life cycle management, product quality and continuous improvement in drug formulation approaches.

Our Product Development team includes dedicated and highly skilled chemists focused on expanding iNova’s healthcare consumer portfolio with novel formulations, dosage forms and technologies that optimise drug delivery and product quality, as well as provide greater choice for patients and consumers. 

Typical initiatives include the rapid development of new prototypes, drug delivery forms and product characteristics, pre-formulation testing and pilot scale development, as well as stability testing of multiple dosage forms, namely, tablets, capsules, lozenges, liquids, creams & gels.

Our strong heritage of in-house development is reflected in the success of established consumer brands such as Duro-Tuss^™ and Difflam^™.

Among other initiatives, iNova’s in-house expertise has enabled the successful introduction of many line extensions to our consumer brands, which is an ongoing initiative with more innovative products are in the pipeline.
